Sky broadband is a part of the digital TV service provider, BSkyB. Established in 1998, BSkyB's satellite based digital TV services has a strong presence in UK and Ireland. BSkyB launched Sky broadband in 2006. Currently, Sky broadband has more than 720,000 customers in UK.
BSkyB offers cheap broadband packages for its digital TV customers. Thus, anyone who subscribes to its TV package can get a broadband offer for just £5 a month. Sky has also launched its bundled service for the new customers - 'See Speak Surf' that includes broadband, home phone and digital TV service.
With its broadband packages, Sky also provides wireless router and free McAfee security for 12 months.

Sky Base comes with 2 MB download speed and 2 GB download limit and a monthly cost of £15. When you include Sky Phone service with Base, the bundle will cost just £26 per month.
Sky Mid package offers 8 MB download speed and 40 GB download limit. This is an excellent package for heavy users and suitable for internet activities like downloading music or videos etc. Price: £20 per month
Sky Max is high speed broadband package with 16MB download speed. With the unlimited usage allowance, you can download as much as you wish or watch plenty of streaming videos or IPTV services for hours
