John Lewis and Waitrose are renowned for their excellence and service. Waitrose already provides its own broadband service.

In a partnership with John Lewis, Waitrose also rolls out a variety of services like insurance, travel and telecoms under the brand name of Greenbee. It is also looking to substitute its own broadband services for the latest users.

It also has a website, www.Greenbee.com.  It supplies just one separate Broadband service, claiming speed equal to 8Mb. It also has a limit of 5GB on the download usage at a monthly cost of £17.61 on an agreement valid for a year and a half.

The broadband service makes available wired router at no cost, parental controls free of charge in addition to 24-hour technical support at no added charge.  The home phone service is also available at a monthly charge of £16.63.

This includes the phone lease and the mobile calls are priced at just 8.81p per minute to whichever provider. It can also form a package with broadband service to save money.

Compare broadband packages and house phone that Greenbee offer, starting from a price of £29.35. This also covers 8 Mb broadband usages, free local as well as national calls at whichever time and phone rent charges.

Any further usage beyond the download limit of 5GB a month is priced £1.96 for each GB.  The user has the option to get on their website and keep track of their usage; even Greenbee will inform you as you near your usage limit, via emails.

It was also rated 67% in terms of user contentment. However it is said to lack in value for money and download speed. The services are not competitively priced and will offer 8Mb speed with a monthly download limit of only 5GB.

Users also expect to get better value for their money somewhere else.
