Productivity Boost for Business realised by Mobile Broadband

Mobile Broadband Boosts BusinessA freshly conducted research has claimed that almost half of the small businesses in the United Kingdom have enhanced their workforce productivity by opting for mobile broadband internet services.

The research that was carried out by the leading mobile broadband service provider in the United Kingdom, O2 has revealed that forty four per cent of the upcoming companies felt their use of converged gadgets such as mobile broadband internet and iPhones have in the recent months boosted their operations.

The study further revealed that sixty five of the emerging business firms in the country believed that their investment in technology has considerably helped the growth of their business besides providing the impetus for increased staff flexibility.

O2’s chief of small business marketing, Simon Devonshire said on the development that emerging companies have shown great reflex to capitalise on the advantages of technology in 2009, after recognising them at the right time.

Devonshire added that while this year witnessed a number of investment proposals needing to take a backseat, better small business firms were aware that cutting back on technology was simply not a sensible option.

O2 had only recently teamed up with the Chinese gadget manufacturer Huawei as part of a trial session for the launch of super-fast mobile broadband internet technology in the United Kingdom.
